    Seaford High School senior Sarah Keane is a candidate for a scholarship from the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association. Sarah is one of only two student-athletes from Section VIII, which includes all Nassau County high schools, to advance in competition.

  • Tech Mentors Support Digital Learning in Seaford

    With an increased reliance on instructional technology during the COVID-19 pandemic, several tech-savvy students from Seaford High School are stepping up to help out their peers. Senior Joe Abbate founded the Tech Mentors program, a group of about a half-dozen students who lend their expertise on the district’s digital learning resources.

    Social and emotional development is a major emphasis throughout the Seaford School District, and students at Seaford Manor Elementary School recently did their part to spread the word. Fifth graders in Meghan Hunt’s class recently published a book, “Guide to a Better You!”

  • Seniors Supports Local Toy Drive

    A pair of Seaford High School seniors made sure children across Long Island had a happy holiday season. Matt Sheintul and Emily Fagan collected more than 500 toys in December, which they donated to the John Theissen Children’s Foundation.
