Seaford Students are Back to School and Ready to Learn

August turned into September, and that meant the start of a new school year in Seaford. More than 2,100 students arrived on the morning of Sept. 1 at the high school, middle school and two elementary schools, ready for a year of learning ahead. 

Seaford High School hosted several workshops throughout the day including sessions with guidance counselors and a Seaford Scholars activity. Seniors proudly donned their Class of 2027 T-shirts and many decorated their cars. 

Harbor and Manor elementary schools welcomed the district’s youngest learners. Incoming kindergartners, who will graduate high school in 2039, arrived for their true first day of school and began by meeting new friends and learning classroom routines. At Seaford Middle School, sixth graders began their journey into the secondary years, with new experiences such as changing classes and having lockers.
