Class of 2030 Gets a Head Start to High School

Seaford High School welcomed the Class of 2030 on Aug. 25 with an informative program for ninth graders and their parents.

Freshmen orientation began in auditorium with introductions from Principal Nicole Schnabel and Assistant Principals Melanie Judson and Alex Mantay. There was also a presentation from the guidance department. Topics included a typical ninth grade course schedule, extracurricular activities, safety and security procedures, student support services and recognition programs.

Students were then led on tours of the building by upperclassmen from the Freshmen Mentors club. They showed the new ninth graders important locations like the cafeterias, gymnasium, music rooms and guidance office, and also answered questions about student life at Seaford High School.
