Basking in Memories Over Bagels at Seaford Harbor

As they near the move to middle school, fifth graders at Seaford Harbor Elementary School had some time to reflect on the past six years of their education. The annual bagel breakfast on June 11 was a chance for noshing and nostalgia. 

Bagels, juice, milk and water were provided by the PTA. As students enjoyed their breakfast, they watched a slideshow that included the kindergarten and fifth grade photos of each graduate, as well as pictures of special events throughout the years. Principal Jennifer Bisulca recognized Caroline Guercio with a perfect attendance award for never missing a day of school since kindergarten. 

The highlight of the morning was the distribution of the yearbooks. Fifth graders highly anticipated the arrival of the keepsake books that captured many exciting moments over the past six years. With great excitement, they looked through the pages together and signed each other’s yearbooks. The final gift for the soon-to-be-graduates from the PTA was a Harbor blanket.
