Photography 1 (Film Photography)

  • The primary objective of the course is to provide students with intense hands-on technical experience with black and white photography. This is an introductory course for those with little or no experience using a film camera. Photography I is open to students who wish to explore the use of the camera as a tool for personal or commercial expression. The course will incorporate all the basic techniques of camera operation and darkroom procedures.

     

    Instruction will be geared, at first, to the fundamental techniques and procedures of photography and as the student progresses, emphasis will be placed on developing the students’ individual talents and interests. Also covered will be the various employment opportunities available through photography.
