Two faculty members in the Seaford School District have been recognized for their exceptional commitment to creating safe and inclusive environments for all students. Seaford High School English teacher Kathryn Miedl and Seaford Middle School nurse Lauren Timoney will receive 2026 Long Island School Hero awards.

As they near the move to middle school, fifth graders at Seaford Harbor Elementary School had some time to reflect on the past six years of their education. The annual bagel breakfast on June 11 was a chance for noshing and nostalgia.

As 165 seniors reached a major life milestone, the theme was fitting at Seaford High School’s graduation ceremony.

For Seaford High School’s Class of 2026, one of the last stops on their journey to graduation was actually their first stop. Seniors visited their former elementary schools.

Seaford High School senior Denys Zagrebin was recently recognized for his scientific achievements with awards at a pair of science and engineering fairs, and from STANYS.

More than two dozen Seaford School District administrators, teachers and support staff celebrated career milestones on June 2. The board of education meeting began with the annual retirement and tenure celebration.

Seaford Middle School student leaders welcomed the next generation with open arms on May 29, as fifth graders from the neighboring Manor Elementary School stopped by for a visit.

The friendship shuffle came to a first grade classroom at Seaford Manor Elementary School as a way for students to strengthen bonds with classmates and improve their communication skills.
