Least Restrictive Environment

Seaford UFSD is committed to supporting all students in the Least Restrictive Environment (LRE) to ensure access to general education curriculum. Consequently, alternative programs, such as special classes, special schools, or other removal from the general education environment, will be considered only when the CSE determines that a student’s education in general education classes cannot be satisfactorily achieved even with the use of supplementary aids and services.
