Committee on Preschool Special Education (CPSE)

The primary function of the Committee on Preschool Education (CPSE) is to identify, evaluate, and determine eligibility for special education services for child ages 3-5 years old. If a child meets criteria to be found eligible for special education services, the CPSE will make recommendations concerning the appropriate special education services of each preschool child with a disability and to facilitate the delivery of those services.  If you suspect that your preschool aged child has a disability or are referred by your doctor or a preschool professional, please reach out to Ms. Ana Scicutella at 516-592-4011 or ascicutella1@seaford.k12.ny.us to register your child. If you have specific questions about the CPSE process, please reach out to Dr. Andrea Kantor 516-592-4060 or akantor@seaford.k12.ny.us.
