ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN EXPLORATORY
This exploratory is an introductory course to architecture. The students will learn the process of developing and designing a structure of their own. They will understand the pre-existing factors that will affect their design, brainstorm their own ideas, create floor plans and front elevations, and then conclude by building a small-scale model of their design. Within the course, the students will also be introduced to well-known architects and structures throughout history.
(<- Click the link to the left to see examples of the models created in this class.)

Here are just three (of many) websites that you can find that have web-based design programs and you may use for your floor plans (You can also draw them by hand.) If you would like to try another program, simply search “online floor plans.” You may have to create a free login to save and/or print your plans. Enjoy and happy designing!
