• KidWind Turbine Challenge
Last year, students participated in the first ever KidWind Turbine competition and took home First, Second, and Third place.  This year, students are entering again to defend our title!
KidWind is a contest in which students are to design and create the most efficient and functional wind turbine.  The KidWind Challenge allows students to showcase their knowledge of wind energy as another alternative energy resource.  Developing alternative energy resources is increasingly important to consider.  The recent local effects of climate change is especially poinant.  Wouldn't it be beneficial to be able to rely on your own energy producing system.  Students learn how to generate the greatest amount of energy from their turbine.
