GROUP COUNSELING
-
We have found that many middle school students have similar issues and concerns. The Mutual Aid Support Group Program was created to address many of these issues. It is important for students to know that they are not alone. During the group discussions, students share their concerns and offer support and feedback to each other. The exact focus of the groups can vary from year to year, depending on the needs of the student population. Participation is voluntary and the issues discussed are strictly confidential!
Groups are usually held during lunch and exploratory periods.
Students may sign up for groups via the online group survey, which is presented at the beginning of the school year, or they can speak with us privately about joining a group throughout the school year.
